Local retail is changing rapidly and entrepreneurs who have had the courage to chase their dreams are now facing unprecedented challenges to success. The good news is, they’re not alone.
Community is more important than ever before. That’s why we’re launching Brick & Order, a new podcast from Faire.
Every week, we’ll bring you inspiring stories from independent retailers in our community, and share resources to help you make the right decisions for your business. Brick & Order is here to help you remain nimble in the face of a changing economy.
Out today, our first episode features a powerful interview with Michelle Macey, founder of Beauty Organix, a health and beauty boutique in East Aurora, NY. Michelle is a former Army officer, biochemist by training, and cancer survivor. Four years ago, Michelle opened the doors of Beauty Organix with one goal in mind: to educate her community on the importance of a safe, chemical-free lifestyle. Due to COVID-19 mandates, Michelle was asked to close her doors on March 22nd. Despite the disruption to usual business, Michelle remains resilient and optimistic.
Go back and find that passion, that fire, that desire you had when you first opened your business and pull it out. We’re doing it all ourselves, just like we did in the beginning.Michelle Macey, founder of Beauty Organix
In this episode, you’ll also hear from CEO, Max Rhodes, on what Faire is doing to support our customers at this time. To stay informed with the most up to date information, please visit our COVID-19 resource page at faire.com/covid-19.
